It's still only February, you can feel the Earth revolving. The Northern hemisphere is being pulled toward the Sun, toward brighter, eventually, warmer days. Imagine the spinning Earth in your mind's eye. Our planet's tilt would place the mid-Atlantic, the Chesapeake Bay region, at about 3:00 o'clock on the dial, if the Sun were a clock.
Spring can't be far away. Urban dwellers might not quite sense it yet, but the people and animals living along the Chesapeake feel something starting to stir. (Who needs the ground hog?) Of course anytime on the Bay is a good time to take your Bible in hand. Spring though, and its arrival, is a special start-again event. Let Spring renew you, seasonally; let your Bible offer daily renewal, with its sunrise to sunset gifts from God.

A very thoughtful posting, and yes, the season ahead is a time of renewal, not just for Mother Earth but for one's body and soul. Well said.
